The show is a sketch based, semi-sitcom based in fictional version of real life North East seaside coastal town Whitley Bay. In our universe, Whitley Bay is a ridiculous, terrifying, paranormal infested, crazy town full of insane residents closed off from the rest of the real world. It is based on a lot of our own real life experiences with a healthy dash of imagination thrown in. It would be like League of Gentlemen meets Father Ted, with some Auf Wiedersehen, Pet for good measure.
It is a deliberately low-budget, shot on the fly type of program, shot on various locations around the North East as well as actually on location in the real Whitley Bay itself. If we were to turn this into a show, we would have a narrative across episodes, as well as featuring different sketches and characters pop up throughout.
