The character of Bapou is based on writer, Cera Rose Pickering’s obnoxiously traditional Greek-Cypriot Granddad. Cera always saw the funny side of her real-life Bapou's rants, so she decided to share him with the world in the form of a cartoon character. Cera hopes that audiences of all ages will grow to love Bapou as much as she loved her real-life Granddad.
