What's it all about

I do character comedy, writing and performing funny monologues. Anything from a five year old spilling the beans on her family during the lockdown to an Octaganarian running the Ken Barlow 'Flan Club', an Amish Woman with IKEA envy, an anti-brexiter pigeon fancier from Bolton, a short sighted butcher, a public school girl making a documentary about her mother for the BBC, to a beautifican for the out of work stars.

My sketches and monologues have been commissioned for BBC Radio 4, RTE radio and TV (In Ireland) and Woman's Hour, BBC R4.

The Very Perry Show has been showcased in various festivals in the UK and Ireland winning best Comedy Show Award at the United Theatre Solo Festival in New York, 2017. I am always developing new material and characters and have re-named the show Kate Perry In Persons.

My short film Ruthless, funded by Northern Ireland Screen is being released in 2021 and I am currently on the London Library Emerging Writers Programme, 2020/2021.

I am currently filming and editing my own material due to the lockdown however, for an outside shoot I would be interested in collaborating with a director/DOP and could certainly use the expertise of a social media person.

I could pay a minimal fee per sketch.
